Char means four, and even inPersian, Chahar means four and in Urdu andHindi Mahal means palaces, hence the name Chowmahalla/four palaces.

This is very vast place.It takes about 3 hours to watch the palace.There are many collections of old articles.

Must visit place nearby charminar. You will get good idea of nizams family tree and lifestyle. In busy area but very peacefull with gardens. Small but good collection

Spent a couple of hours exploring the palace (a museum). Its in the heart of the city and you can learn about the culture and traditions of the Royal Family

Yes there is paid parking space available for around 20-25 vehicles just outsite the main entrance. But availability depends on the number of people who come there with own vehicles .... In other words your luck on the day... More

I think it is allowed but I did not see any place to save it and carrying it will be dificult during visit
