A trip to Hyderabad is incomplete without a drive along the Hussain Sagar Lake, Hyderabad’s answer to Mumbai’s Marine Drive. The wide street glows like a pearl necklace in the evenings with walkers, hawkers, ice cream carts and all the locals enjoying the beautiful views of the lake. There are a number of lake-facing restaurants, shops and cafes especially on Eat Street, which overlook the monolithic statue of Gautam Buddha that separates Hyderabad from Secunderabad. Home to a variety of parks and gardens, heritage architectural areas and temples, Hussain Sagar Lake is Hyderabad’s favourite kid-friendly hub in the city.

Go early morning around 6 am if you really want to enjoy. A number of attractions lie on the road including the Sanjeevaiah park, Rock garden, Butterfly garden, Dog park, Herbal and Spice garden, PV Gyan bhoomi and one of the highest flags in the country. There is also bicycle club from where you can take bicycles on rent. There are a large number of eating options as well.

A place to relax, breathe and find peace. I used to take my dog here and he loved this place more than we did. He found new friends and he played a lot. The only place where you are near to the main road but the traffic dies not effect you..

Necklace Road is one of the popular tourist spots of Hyderabad. It is named as “necklace” because the road from Sanjivaiah Park connects to Tank bund Road, which further connects to Lumbini Park and NTR Gardens and thus forming a circle that appears in the shape of necklace when seen from the sky.

The necklace road can really become a beautiful place to hangout with a amazing view to Hussain Sagar lake But the broken footpath and foul smell doesn't allow you to actually be there for a longer duration.
This area should be cleaned and developed.

This place is the living proof of what irresponsible citizens can do to any place. Sans the dirt this is a beautiful place. Nice waking path. Beautiful gardens. View of lake.
Now comes the sad part.

The lake is dirty. There is dirt thrown all over the gardens. So if u are going for some nice jog or do enjoy the scenary, the place is not very appealing.

One must have a drive on the Necklace road to enjoy its beauty. I prefer to go in the late evening hours or night for better view.

Other than the road is constructed in the shape of a necklace, it is filled with street graffiti. Very talented and crrative artists have left their mark on the walls and buildings. My personal favorite is the superwoman piece.

The well lit road around Hussain Sagar Lake is called Necklace Road in Hyderabad. People drive around in this area to watch the Buddha Statue amidst the lake. The roads are crowded on week days due to office goers traffic and on Sundays by week end tourist.

It's quite central in position - so it's very likely you will go pass/ along it ( reference :Hussain Sagar Lake ).
