The botanical garden is very big so that you can walk for hours. Nature is great - view is great. But you should organize a taxi in advance to get back home. There are some entrances where there are not taxis waiting in front.

We went there with our car. Then we bought the tickets and entered the garden. It is a really big and beautiful garden that I think you cannot visit all of it at once. There are several multi ways where you should decide one of them and continue your way. most of the way, you will have to walk uphill.... More

The trees were labled and it was a pleasant walk in the park. Only problem is that we went in winter and it was not easy to walk as the path was pretty slippery being covered with sniw & ice. So we did not make it to the South American section. However, the view of the Black Sea was pretty... More

This place is quite nice garden. One need to go by car and reach the entrance. We need to buy ticket for Battery car. You can travel by battery car which has around 6 seats. You can get down at the other end. . Botonical garden has nice plants, flowers and amazing view of Black sea. Touring by walk is difficult.... More

Like other botanical gardens that I have visited , the garden consists of different parts in terms of originality of plants. But, what makes it interesting, is its location. The landscape of Black sea on the top of the hills is very beautiful. Tip: Choose an appropriate time for visiting due to the season and weather. It would be hot... More

The tour is actully a walk in the woods. A 3 hour tour by foot. I recommend to settle for the 2 hour option. For that you need to go by car to the next entry. Needs good weather. at least not a rainy day.

This botanical garden is almost 10 km from Batumi center. Forget about walking there, but take a mashrutka (minibus) no. 31 from the Cable Car. The mashrutka ticket costs about 1 lari (~0,3 euro) per person, very cheap. 8 lari is the entrance fee for adults. It takes about 2 hours to walk around the garden. The garden has two... More

We had our taxi drop us off at the 2nd entrance and wait for us at the bottom. This was very good advice we read about and it was well worth it. We prefer to walk and not go on the electric car as you miss the beauty of the place. I am sure it is magnificent from spring to... More
