We loved the fish market: live lobster, live crabs, fresh fish. Great prices. Fresh and organic vegetables, fresh farm eggs. Went the 3 times per week.

The high official of the gouvernment has lounched the free WiFi hotspot in savusavu!! The goal is to enable every Fiji citizen to have fast data, television and telephone. Of course visitors can join that facility also! Great initiative!!!

We were after getting some tropical fruits and were very disappointed with the market's selection. The fish market was disappointing as well. Smelly, with old frozen fish stored in filthy, poorly maintained freezers. No ice. Nothing fresh.

I have visited this market several times while staying in Savusavu. There is a wide variety of fresh local produce and many very friendly folks selling there. The sellers are very helpful and informative.

This is rural Fiji at its best. The food is seasonal so what is available will depend on the growing season and the weather. We were lucky to get fresh fish but that also depends on whether boats have been out. The people are friendly...More

We arrived in Savusavu by ferry from Taveuni and headed straight to the markets. Despite the damage to crops caused by Cyclone Winston we managed to be able to buy pretty much anything we needed on any given day. The prices are fair, the markets...More
