Beautiful beach. Lots of sea lions, turtles, pelicans, iguanas and boobies. If the afternoon wind picks up then this can be a challenging beach for calm swimming and snorkeling.

If you're going to do a Kicker Rock tour, try to get on a tour that has a stop at Puerto Chino. I don't think you could get here any other way, and it is very tranquil.

Beautiful beach with soft, golden sand and clear blue water. There are no facilities but that's probably why it's not crowded.

White sand and gorgeous clear water! we enjoyed our walk to get to the beach but be warned that the uphill hike back can be challenging.

This place is a bit rough to swim but it's an amazing place to see the blue footed booby. There is a rock overlook and you can see the sea lions and turtles swimming in the little bay. The sea lions were playful just keep your distance. There was one male sea lion that was not so friendly.

A must visit. We hired a taxi and went here. $30.00 US each way. Well worth it. Amazing beach, climb the rocks and see the blue footed bobbies!

My husband and I have recently returned from a trip to the Galapagos Islands. The day that we went China Beach on San Cristobal, it was spectacular. Blue sky, perfect small waves, fabulous water temperature and super white sand. It was gorgeous. Coming from Australia where we have amazing beaches, this certainly compared to them. Unfortunately we had no wildlife around on our day, but that didn't spoil it for us. From the car park, I think it is about a 10 - 15 minute walk to the beach along a path where you can see many different cactus. We LOVED it. The only negative for me, is that there is no shade on the beach. I am very fair and really need to try and stay out of the sun if and when possible. However, I did my best to stay protected and we both loved. Take plenty of water and snacks. Enjoy.

This was our teen daughter's favorite spot! Of course, mostly to take selfie!
But it is a beautiful spot you can reach through an easy trail going through an interesting cactus area.
Beautiful turquoise waters, a few lazy sea lions playing in the rocks and the water. Lots of shady places (OK, you might, like we did, have to share with one of the sea lions, but she was fine with it! Plenty of small friendly birds, very fine sand.
This is probably one of the most beautiful spot I have been to. It reminded me of some of the beaches next to the Great Barrier Reef, in a smaller scale.
Few tourists there but a lifeguard/nature guide on duty if needed.
Just be aware that a lot of these sea lions seem to be males (it is probably a bachelor beach) so keep a 2 m distance with the bigger ones.
Outstanding photo opportunities!
