Love this beach. I cycled there from The port in San Cristobal - that is pretty intense so might have been worth taxi to El Progresso on the way there and the cycle. On the way back get a taxi to El Junco!! Lovely beach

The water was very cold, so we didn't snorkel, but we had fun watching the sea lions and looking at the shells. I found some hermit crabs and amused myself watching them for a while.

This was nice after long day in the highlands. Amazing crystal clear waters and incredible view. The waves were stronger here than other beaches on the island. Fun for an hour or two. Don't forget the bug spray! There are large horse flies!

I visited this beach as part of a highland "tour" lead by a taxi driver. It was quite a sunny 10 minute walk to the beach, but totally worth it. We layed our towels out on the rocks and got right into the crystal clear...More
