We had a two day visit to Atuaro with Compass and enjoyed our time immensely. We managed to see whales both on the way to the island and the way back and the captain made detours so that we could get a better view of these magnificent mammals, we got to within 50 metres at one stage. That apart when... More

Fantastic memorable experience. Highly recommend!! I did a one-day dive trip to Atauro with Luke and Tony, who both made it an enjoyable comfortable experience. The reefs at Atauro are some of the best in the world and I saw some incredible biodiversity. We had lunch at a mini-coastal village that the dive shop has set up where they bring... More

Great staff. My wife and I went out with Chris and Luke and 1 other diver for a day trip to Atauro Island. I was just getting over a cold so had to settle for snorkeling which was so incredible - water so clear that visibility was over 20 meters straight down. Huge coral formations, numerous fish (didn't see one... More

After diving all around SE Asia I can say that although what we found underwater wouldn't be on top of my diving-spots list, both Tony and the Indonesian instructor (sorry I keep forgetting her name!) were the best professionals I have met so far. Since the moment I entered the dive centre she was very friendly and super welcoming, gave... More

We got a group of friends together for the weekend and stayed on the back side of Atauro. It was first class, Compass took care of everything. I loved that their resort is so inter-twined with the local village, it allowed us to have a taste of the real Timorese lifestyle. There was never a shortage of fun, hiking, snorkeling,... More

when diving in East Timor, Compass is a good company to use. Good equipment, first rate instructors. The diving in Timor is amazing and there are many different ways to do it and its always good to have a professional outfit to assist. Just always ensure you are paying for what you booked and do not get short changed by... More

We took a one day dive course on Atauro, super professional, wonderful instructor, she was very careful with the children and made us all feel safe. We are looking forward to trying out some of the other adventures offered!

Spent a wonderful day going out to Atauro Island with friends with Tony and Compass crew for a day trip. Arrived at Barry's Eco lodge, great set up. Had an opportunity to visit the Organisation that make Boneca dolls which was great as they opened up for us especially on Sunday and also visited the jewellery shop opposite which helps... More
