A small row of decent eateries facing on to the harbour of Volosko at the far end of the Lungomare promenade. Every restaurant is rated well and each had a few spaces without reservation. More charm than the main Opatija drag. Recommended.

Volosko is smal but authentic with little harbour on the beautiful Istrian coast near Opatija. Some good restaurants there too.

We loved everything about Volosko, a much more “authentic”, small, quiet town with a walkway all along their shore front. Lovely people. Beautiful old houses & buildings. Small stores & terrific restaurants. We wished we booked more days!

This small fishing village with its bay is a must to visit while in Opatija and Rijeka area. You can enjoy a great swim, then walk over to MOHO for a delicious pizza and few stairs up on the main road have the best desert...More

An excellent little friendly shop that can offer so many local organic products (for cooking at your appartements or as a souvenir and a gift to your friends). Forgotten tastes. Worth trying. Olive oils (Dalmatian, Istrian), jams and many other products. You can even arrange...More

We started our walk of the Lungomare from here and it is the nicest place on the walk. It has real charm. Fabulous place.

We walked from Opatija to Volosko along the coastal path which took us about 90 minutes with the odd stop to feed the fish in the sea but you can get a water taxi if you don't want to walk. Volosko is a lovely quaint...More

This town is the most charming spot in Kvarner. It's very small but you feel like you came back in the past. It's very romantic and has very nice promenade to walk by the sea

We walked down here and back from Opatija to have dinner and, when we did, as soon as we got there this incredible thunderstorm came through and afterwards the beautiful evening sunset light in the picture. The walk is a great way to get ready...More

A lovely short walk from Opatija. Great views all the way along the path along the coastline, especially on a day of beautiful weather.
