Very nice place to attend an event. Warm atmosphere to attend with family. Clean restrooms and polite staff. Getting in moves very well. I like attending functions here contrary to other arenas that are often poorly controlled on the entry systems.

Built in 1929 and made famous by the "Miss America Pageant" Boardwalk Hall is a multi-purpose convention center and must see when in Atlantic city. I attended the production of Cirque du Soleil Ovo which was fabulous. The architecture inside lends itself to excellent sight lines and acoustics. Seating is arena like and comfortable. The steep side seats are elevated like... More

The big building that looks like a mosque is the "Boardwalk Hall", an arena. It was declared a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 1987. The venue seats 10,500 people for ice hockey, and at maximum capacity can accommodate 14,770 for concerts. Boardwalk Hall is the home of the Miss America Pageant. It contains the world's largest musical instrument, a pipe... More

Steep steps, to me steps could have more lighting on them. Seats are uncomfortable and small. Not much leg room. Nice vendors and staff was helpful. Easy going in and coming out was not as bad as we thought.

Totally disappointed at how they handled the (no umbrella policy) on a rainy day. No order, piles on the floor or wherever people had to leave them. I'm sure there were angry people leaving not finding theirs. Knowing this, venue should have had it set up better. Left early just to avoid the chaos.

It was a normal rock concert setting (American Idol's Tour). It was fun and exciting my tickets were free so I can't complain about the seats.

This old venable hall has seen it all over the years. Maybe it is best known for the Miss America Pageant. That provides a week of activities in the town. It also has held concerts, sporting events and conventions. It is old, but a staple of the town.

I just happened to walk by the Boardwalk Hall....located near Caesar's. I walked in and they were having a concert using the largest pipe organ in the US. This is also the same Hall where they hold the Miss America Pageant. Easy to walk around. The sounds of the Organ was great. Lots of history within the walls of this... More

Came up for Miss America Pageant. Boardwalk Hall does a great job with this event! It's easy to get in, restrooms and concessions are convenient and quick, and the seating was great!
