We visited Atlantic City for a 1 day trip. We visited Taj Casino and Hotel, didn't stay there so I cannot comment on the hotel rooms but the Casino was pretty much comparable to the Vegas casinos. However, cleanliness was a question!! Overall, a nice place to visit if you are in Atlantic City.

This place was the most unorganized dump I have ever been too. Many tables were closed at my last visit. Their buffet had worse food than a Turkish prison.

Awful outdated decor. Smelt of tobacco even though non smoking room booked.

A pathetic imitation of the original Taj Mahal in India. I did not intent to gamble, but the casino was closed anyhow.

As our future President, and an individual who is deamed a worthy individual to be known as a Successful Businessman Pioneer, Trump should sell Tah Mahal for $1 or donate it. It shouldn't be left in Atlantic City to collect dust and become a future eye sore.

Sadly the Trump Taj Mahal Casino has ceased all casinos and hotel operations since October 10 ... so now half of Atlantic City's casino are closed.

It was offering 2,010 rooms and was built at a total cost of nearly one billion dollars, it was inaugurated by its then-owner Donald Trump in 1990.

As Donald Trump would say himself, the place was HUUUUGE ... with 120,000 square feet (11,000 m2) of gaming space, it claimed to be the largest casino in the world then ...

Also offered over 20 places to eat ... although, you can still go to the Hard Rock Cafe that is located right on the Boardwalk next to the main entrance of the casino.

I've been to few Casino's in my life but this one definately left me richer for the experience!

Aesthetically it is stunning but does bear all the ingrediants of a Hollywood horror film. All the lights are on...the thousands of slots are all illuminated...but the only life are the security guards strolling the empty corridors.

I went there with $500 ready for action and an hour later came back with my $500 after enjoying the entertainment!

Definately recommend this Casino as a safe bet for not losing a dime!

would not go back. Part of the hotel was closed, rooms were outdated and the staff not accommodating.
