The gaming was great. We stayed at Borgata and spent 4 hours at Golden Nugget. Food was very good. Valet was curteous and it was not better than the Borgata.

STAY AWAY from this online casino; they will not pay you your winnings and have the worst customer service; There are so many online casinos to pick from, please don't get involved with Golden Nugget; I won over 4,000.00 on 9/19/22 and still waiting for my money or even a response from the casino . .

Stayed one night over Labor Day weekend. Paid full price. We got our room key and waited five minutes for an elevator. The elevators were an issue every time. They have 8 elevator banks but only 4 seemed to be operating. So elevators were slow and crowded.
We opened our non-smoking room. It reeked of smoke. We had to drag our bags back downstairs and get another room. No upgrade or comps offered for our trouble.
Walls are paper thin. We could hear guests across the hall yelling in their room. We could clearly hear conversations of guests next to us through the walls.
Casino is dark and outdated, but you know you’re getting that at the Nugget. The problem was trash left behind at the slots. Never saw anyone cleaning up.
Visited the pool area around 4 pm. It was a disaster zone. Towels, beer cans, plastic pitchers strewn everywhere on the ground. One sad-looking guy trying to clean up. We left immediately.
Don’t try walking outside. We went to visit the tiny beach about 100 yards north of the casino. Obviously people use it as a trash dump. Very sad. With all GN’s money, you would think they would pay to clean it up.
Also GN’s 24k club is a joke. We literally played 100s of dollars at tables and slots. Checked our comps at the end, and we have 94 cents in free plays.
Never again.

Horrendous. If you visit here, hold on to your phone and purse extremely tightly AND expect to be lied to by management. Last week, our family was visiting (set up by a host who ensured no fees would accrue on our credit card. Thank you for the lies, E.R.)
Even worse, I was able to locate my stolen phone within hours but security wanted no parts in hearing that the theives left the casino at 8:30 am and went to the bus stop. I pleaded with them to check security cameras, to no avail (the theives stole it, along with another young man's phone who was in a group of 6, and an elderly lady's phone who I met in the valet.) I again contacted GN's supervisor (Sunday a.m. shift) and she knew exactly who I was but did NOT want the information (I have how & where the phone traveled, times, etc. And, even the name of the individual at the address who is back in California now!) ACPD has been contacted, so have fun with that Tom P., Jim B and the pathetic "Security" team.
I do have to say, since being an elite member of the GN for over 10 years, it has not always been this way and there are still a few WONDERFUL staff members working there. Unfortunately, our host retired, we got stuck with a host who has lied to us TWICE now and wiped out all of our comps and now when we need security... We get un gots. Bye Bye GN.
Finally, the suite's a.c. unit didn't work, t.v. was broken and son-in-law accidentally drank ONE Figi water, yet my credit card was charged for 2, along with other "unknown" charges. Pubic hairs were all along the floors and yellow stained blankets (that were covered with clean sheets) lined the befs. Bring the Lysol and hazmat suits, fellow guests.

We are traveling by boat and stayed at Farley's Marina at Golden Nugget Casino. The marina was great but the price of dockage is high for transient boats. We are here for a wedding and events weeks before n after but the marina didn't care n charged top rate
You can get a seasonal slip cheeper then staying 6 weeks on E dock.

The staff are very helpful, particularly the people bringing drinks. Love the restaurant in the Nuggett. The Nuggett is a fun place to stay and play.

This review is about the casino, we did not stay in the hotel or eat in any of the restaurants. This is my 4th time in Atlantic City and I know better than to play any slots here, so I limited myself to just $10 knowing how tight this place always is. My first trip to A.C.years ago was the day after Golden Nugget took over the old Trump Marina hotel and casino and they had some areas blocked off while they were changing the name. Slots were very very tight back then and also the next two times we came out here. This time when we walked in the casino we thought we had walked into a ghost town, either that or they were closed. Believe me when I say there were just a handful of people scattered in the casino. We would walk rows and rows of slots and not see anyone, then we would come across one lone person playing a slot. My friend played several slots and put quite a bit of money in, even knowing full well that I told him they wouldn't pay out. They didn't at all. Oh, maybe a 15 cent payout on a 75 cent bet after 20 spins, but that was about it, and it was the same no matter what slot machine that we played. Way to blow through $50 in 10 minutes. The lack of people playing here shows people are finally wising up to this place and going elsewhere to gamble. I predict this place will eventually close up if management doesn't smarten up and loosen their slots! You can't stay in business when no one will gamble in your casino, even when you are the only place that offers free parking! Free parking won't help get people to play if their slots won't pay out anything.

We liked the video poker selection and free drinks while we were playing. Won some money, lost some money, had a good time. Hope to be back. You can take a jitney there if you are staying on the Boardwalk for $2,25

We had never adventured as far as the Golden Nugget so we made it a priority to visit this casino first. The Christmas decorations were mostly bright red and yellow and we were thrilled that the parking was free. The casino was extremely smoky for a Saturday afternoon so we didn’t stay long.

This was a first time staying visit to GN we were given a complimentary very nice refurbished room although we were promised a suite but we were very happy with the room. The views of the bay was no so good since we are accustomed to ocean view when we stay on the boardwalk. We came in a Wednesday and left on Friday.As expected the place was dead and many shops closed. The pool was beautiful and the kids enjoyed it. Kids are only allowed until 2 pm but we like going in the morning so it didn’t bother us. The casino at night was ok. I don’t think I got one drink though I usually had a big dinner before gambling so I didn’t really want one. I won a little and the games were fun some I played for the first time. The GN is a nice clean place but with limited things to do if I bring the kids I would however visit again with just my wife.

That sounds amazing! We've always wanted to do holidays in one of our favorite locations. We do not know exactly what is planned at the GN for this period, but we know their calendar of events is up on their website and we're betting (Pun intended) it's awesome. The restaurants at the GN are second to none with wonderful happy hours. We literally stroll from a happy hour at one to dinner at the next. We are confident that the holiday period will include special items on the menus, entertainment in the lounges and specialty cocktails. We also reccomend a jittney ride to the boardwalk where Resorts Casino and Margaritaville are among our favorite haunts. A bit corny? Maybe. But again - we BET you'll enjoy!

it is a short distance to the beach. I usually leave my car in the garage and my advice is to take Uber, it is cheaper. There is no fee to get on the beach. I think you can rent umbrellas there.

Looking at tickets for the Dionne Warwick concert in June at the Golden Nugget. How are the seats in section D,E, F, H? Seats in these sections are affordable, but don't want to need binoculars to see the show. Anyone with experience at this venue?

I have booked three nights at golden nugget in June for my parents and myself. We are so excited and counting down the days. I wanted to do something special for them as they were so supportive during my husbands illness and when he passed away recently. Yesterday at work a man said that atlantic city was the scariest place he has ever been. Can you comment on the safety factor please. I really am looking forward to a fun holiday at the Golden Nugget with my parents

First my condolences for your loss. My husband and I have been going to AC since the 80's so it holds a special place in our hearts. My daughter and son in law love to join us. We have been to many places and I say the same thing every time, you just always need to be aware of your surroundings. The resorts are very safe, lots of security. Walking the boardwalk is also safe, especially in June, there will be crowds. However, If you're out late (after 1:00 am) don't walk anywhere. Outside each hotel there are Rolling Chair Buggies 24/7, which will take you anywhere up and down the boardwalk at a reasonable price. Golden Nugget is one of our favorite places, great restaurants and staff, beautiful resort. Tropicana, Harrahs and Borgata are also well done. AC will soon be getting a Hard Rock Casino where Taj Mahl stands vacant. The outlet shopping is a fun day excursion and is located behind Caesars Resort, it is safe to walk as long as you go during the day. I can recommend the Comedy Club at Borgata, The Escape Room at Tropicana, Ripley's Believe It or Not on the Boardwalk, Ocean City, NJ is only a few minutes by car down the road, which has a huge Boardwalk with a variety things to do. We always have great time win or loose in AC and look forward to our next trip in July ;) Good Luck and Safe Travels!

Rooms are nicer at Golden Nugget. But you need to take car or bus to Boardwalk snd other casinos. Not much more than to eat and gamble. For Variety stay ay Resorts it is by other casinos with more to do. Walking distance to outlets. Just going from one casino to another at this time of year to see Xmas Decor is nice.
