I just love wind farms, so this was a nice treat to see the grounds and the big wind turbines just outside of Atlantic City near the marina. Even if you don't get inside, it's just nice to see them up close.

My husband and I scheduled our tour the day after the Atlantic City Air Show. Monica described their facility and answered our questions on the wind farm, solar panels and the wastewater treatment facility. She brought us into the control room where one of the...More

Tour the giant windmills in Atlantic City and see for yourself that wind power works. I have taken Rotary professionals from Italy and Nigeria to this guided tour with great effect.

The facility is interesting. The group had about 15 people. It is very kid friendly (the kids' enthusiasm was part of the fun). I was hoping to get better access to the windmills- no go. I am unclear why, but they had 2 tour guides,...More

I accompanied a class trip to the facility and found it to be informative. The "guides" were very pleasant and willing to explain the workings of the ACUA.

We were a party of two so I don't believe it was as good as it would have been had it been a group. We learned a lot and the guide was very nice to take the time to tell about the Wind Farm. However,...More

The tour is essentially a guided walk around fueled by Q&A from the group. Individuals and couples would benefit from picking a time that would not bundle you in with a school group. We were with another 2 families and that worked out well. Definitely...More

Atlantic County really has it together when it comes to renewable resourcing. It could be because of casino investments or wonderfully innovative pro-active managers but AC should be a model for the nation.
