We loved visiting this museum and learning the real history of the island for the original natives. They were very nice and informational while we toured the old home and learned about the culture and history. I think everyone who visits the island should stop by for a short tour and learn about the island's history and natives.

In my opinion the museum is interesting but behind the house there are two dogs trapped by a rusty chain living in a very poor conditions. I asked for a worker about the dogs and she answered they are agressive but I played with them and they are very friendly. It is a case of mistreat of animals and I feel so sorry things like this yet happens nowadays

Nice place to learn about San Andres history. They give you a tour of what a early settler home looked like . Great staff and nice place to have a cold drink after the tour.

Nice place, where you can know how people lived years ago. But you take not more than 30min to view it all...

It's nice to have a quick view of what life was like on the island. And the reggae dance lessons at the end were a fun surprise!

we found this museum when we were driving around the island with 4x4 golf cart. staff was eager on telling about the history before the time island got under Colombian influence and also presented how every day activities were done before modern era. at the end of the tour we were shown and also taught little bit of the dances of the old times - nice experience!

We were passing by on a rented ride, and pulled in. We were warmly greeted and walked up to an outdoor dance studio where Mr. Bent was giving some fun island dance lessons and people were enjoying the beverage of their choice. Then we were given a tour of the island house property and the house. It is well worth seeing the preservation of a historic home on the island. I would recommend stopping by for a short quick. It was only a couple bucks to enter, and you can get some shade and a beverage. It was just a fun little stop on our journey around the island.

This was an old house that displayed the English history of the island. Nothing really to whoa you just a piece of history. The cost is 8000 ($2.50) to get a guided tour in English or Spanish. The house once belonged to an English familiy and since has been turn into a nice museum. Not something I would have placed on my list of things to do if I wasn't staying in San Andres a month plus taking advantage of some bad weather that kept me from the beach but then again it will only take 30 minutes to see and the parking is free and never crowded. Happy Travels!!!!

Small museum with a great little history. This is worth the stop if you are at all interested in the history of the island. Has some great little era time pieces that i wish were better preserved but the tour was insightful.

It's a nice well-maintaned house. It's a really small tour, however, nothing even close to a museum. Just a house, outside kitchen and bathroom. Fun to visit, nice to take a tour, but it won't keep your there for even 20 minutes.
