The Crane house (former home of writer Stephen Crane) is one of the great culture hubs of the area. The highly-curated programming is original, special, and smart. You will leave an event happier and more enlightened than when you came. Everyone who walks through the...More

Asbury Park has lost so many landmarks over the past 20 years and it is a very sad statement to a once historical town. The Stephen Crane House is one bright spot. I am happy that it has been saved.

Don't waste your time on this. The homes next door are much nicer AND have been lovingly restored but not this place. Avoid, folks!!!!

I attended a vegan taco party event at the Stephen Crane House. The food was splendid and our Tour Guide was extremely knowledgeable. I didn't find the neighborhood to be "very dangerous". I have to say the display of Stephen Crane's keyboard was just fantastic.
