Arvi Park is a really nice place to spend the day, pic-nique, walk arround. If you plan to visit is better to plan all day otherwise is not worth it. It's take 30-40 min to go, from the park ( by restaurant area) you have also a bus coming downtown Medellin.

You are able to get there after 20 minutes of metrocable. It is an amazing place, it was Ester time and there was a local street market on the top. The only thing we recomend is to check website first if you want to visit the park as the tours are scheduled.

You take the cable car and there you see poor houses, happy children running and plying and a vibrant neighborhood. The cable gets almost vertical and you start to wonder if it is a public transport or an amusement park where you are tow up to let you drop then. All of the sudden there is silence and you fly... Stunning scenery of nature is a a nice trip to live the crowd of the city. You can get there with a cable car and enjoy a view of the city.

At the end of the Metrocable - a big bonus. Very small market has incredible fresh fruit, light Colombian meal/snacks, nicknacks, juices & local microbrew beer (jury is out). Tip: if thirsty for beer, take the 10 minute trail down along the backside of the park; walk (3000 pesos). If you choose one of the picnic table stands to kick... More

Stunning scenery definitely worth a visit. There is a really nice hotel/restaurant where you can have a 3 course lunch for 2 for less than £20

Afterall it was cool, but we expected more of adventure and nature... You need a guide for longer walks which is dissapointing when a proper map would be enough for some people... A nice gateaway from the city with some birds and insects, but paved road if you want to do it cheap.. Lovely cablecar though!

A great stop in Medellin, particularly to enjoy the cable car ride to get there. The sights are a bit spread out so you'll spend a lot of time walking.

Taking the Metro then the cable cars to get to Arvi Park is a lot of adventure in itself, especially if you have never ridden a Metro train or a cable car! The trip from downtown to the cable car station takes only a few minutes, then you get into an 8 person car and glide over some of the... More
