Enjoy nice Botero sculptures. You can spend a lot of time in the plaza . Difficult to picture the sculptures without a person around.

Nice plaza in the middle of the city. Free! Good assortment of statues to take pictures of or in front of. Typical city plaza with many street vendors selling both good and poor quality merchandise. Use caution when displaying money. There are homeless people that frequent this area of the city. I never felt threatened but I could see other... More

Many sculptures by the world famous Fernando Botero displayed in his home town. Because of the spacing of the sculptures the visitor should have ample opportunity for taking photographs without interruption.

A nice way to see the work and style of colombians' most famous painter and sculpturist. Very busy so it is difficult to take pictures without the other tourists.

The sculptures of Botero are amazing, but the environment is horrible. There is all kind of beggars, strange street amusement and unsafe local around that place. Not in a good part of town.

The Botero Plaza is incredible for the arts, sculptures, and ambient. However, the amount of people trying to sell something, the visible prostitution, and the dirty of the plaza make me think if I would like to visit the Botero Plaza again. This place have beautiful structures, huge arts from Botero, incredible museum, and good local food. I believe that... More

Big fan of the art. The art is very cheerful and the ambience of the Plaza is helped by the general mood of the tourists and locals hanging out and having fun. Few street vendors, but not too harassing. Be careful to not wonder too far from the Plaza (as we did) as the surrounding area is fairly run down,... More
