The plaza is smaller than one expects. A famous hotel fronts on the plaza, but it is in a section of Medellin I would not want to be at night.

Just go and mingle with ordinary Colombians and keep your valuables safe but really it's so fun and special.. see the amazing statues of bronze and buy some mango from a street vendor .....

Visiting the Botero Plaza and Museum should be a must when you visit this great city. A great artist and a proud son of Medellin!

. This is a wonderful plaza where the city has transformed what was a negative space into a lovely area showcasing fabulous work from Botero.

This may be one of the best spots in Medellín. You can appreciate Fernando Botero's art as you enjoy a nice fruit, typical from Colombian gastronomy.

Very Beautiful sculptures and art work. A bustling part of town but not unfriendly in the least. Visited while on a walking tour, would have loved to return on our own if time had permitted. Definitely check it out.

The statues are beautiful and the story behind the donation is really interesting, but there are so many people trying to selling you something or ask for money it's difficult to enjoy it in peace. Don't miss the Museo de Antioqua right across the square. A very beautiful museum, you'll need a few hours.

Some of the most famous art from Colombia displaying over 20 statues from the famous Botero. Lots to do and see here. Grab some coffee near the museum and watch the plaza, buy some art from vendors, or just walk around with a beer. This is a must see spot in Medellin.

The plaza is located walking distance from the metro. Lots of botero's famous sculptures are to be seen in this plaza... volume is in every detail. The place is full of people even dough we went during the night. We didn't feel super safe but just look around while you take your pictures... we didn't see nothing strange...but it was... More
