If you want to experience authentic Colombian cuisine, I highly recommend this course!
We made a great Mojito, tasted a wide variety of fruits and learned to prepare the best Colombian food. Ana Maria and her partner invited us to their home and made it feel, like it was ours as well. With great humour and excellent cooling skills, this was easily one of the best cooking classes I took, we enjoyed every bit. Thank you! :)

Superb experience!

The hosts were more than welcoming and the whole evening was more than I expected.

Cooking a variety of Colombian dishes, hearing stories about their lives & travels, and tasting a number of local fruits all made the experience authentic and unique.

I highly recommend!

10/10!

We were a group of 4 and really enjoyed the cooking class! It wasn’t only about the food, but also connecting with the hosts and the other guests. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere which made it hard to leave. If you’re looking for a fun and entertaining class, we recommend Ana-Maria :)

This cooking class was great! We were picked up from our hotel for no additional cost. Went to the market and bought some items. Went back to their apartment and got the whole experience! And the spices we made were delicious. I would highly recommend it while in Medellin.

During our recent visit to Medellin, Colombia, we decided to take the half-day Colombian cooking class with Ana and Libardo. When we first arrived, they both welcomed us into their 3rd floor apartment with a nice view of the courtyard and city, where they quickly demonstrated that they are a very knowledgable and skilled team, with a kitchen well suited for food preparation. After a round of delicious Mojitos, we were shown the step-by-step process for making poached Tilapia wrapped in plantain leaves with cocoanut rice and a green salad with mango dressing. It was delicious! More importantly, we felt we'd made new friends in the process and were so pleased by the experience we hired the two of them prepare Libardo's special seafood lasagna for Christmas Day dinner at our Airbnb. These two are really fine people, and I recommend their class to anyone visiting Medellin wanting a truly unique experience that you will be able to share with family and friends when you return home. Thanks again Ana and Libardo!

Only one of us had previously done a cooking class in a foreign country. This exceeded our expectations and was a wonderful start to the day. They picked us up at the hotel and took us to a local market where we learned more about local fruits and flowers. After walking back to their apartment, we used the fruit to muddle a drink. From there we made the dough from scratch and rolled out arepas and empanadas. They were very easy to talk to and made us feel very welcome in their home. We had good laughs, the food was delicious, and we will be making this when we get back home. A really great visit.

My friends and I had such a great time at this class! Ana and her boyfriend were great hosts and teachers. My friends never cook at home and all of us were able to follow along with the recipes and made lots of amazing food. The ceviche on patacones was definitely the favorite. There were a ton of leftovers as well! I would highly recommend this class for anyone who wants an authentic Cartagena experience!
