Really nothing much to see just a steeple with a clock. Interesting but nothing more. Many street vendors in the area and they are relentless in their pursuit of a sale.

Inside the walled city which is an amazing place to visit both day & night. Full of nice stores and great restaurants.
The clock tower is visible from almost part of the city.

This is the Gate and Clock Tower or main entrance to the Walled City and often used as a meeting point. Comes alive at night as it is cooler and looks very pretty then. Expect the usual circus of street vendors trying to sell you anything and everything. Safe as there is a police presence around.

The small clock tower over an archway entrance into the old city is an attractive landmark. Quite busy during the day the area both sides of the clock bursts into life at night especially on the weekend with locals and tourists strolling around, food stalls, local sellers offering cigarettes, cold drinks, fridge magnets, just a lovely busy area.

The clock tower marks the main historic entrance to the old town through the walls of the city. Through the double arches you can enter the historic centre or indeed depart it in the direction of Getsemani.
It is a beautiful, elegant tower and both it and the plaza behind it are always a hive of activity. A great landmark to use to get your bearings.

There was even Catholic Mass on Sunday. The handmade candy arcade is here, several roof top bars (look up) and many tour groups meet here. I can't speak to the public toilets but they are here too. At Sunset just outside of the "gate" are indigenous dancers with recorded music. Tip: Go before dark so you can literally see them.

One of the most important things of the walled city. Sadly, the area is completely dirty and neglected. You get harrassed by sellers and everything smells of pee.

“La Torre del Reloj” is the entrance to the walled city and it is an emblematic point of reference in Cartagena, right outside in the evening gathers lots of people to eat street food or just hanging out with their families.

Right inside passing “La torre del reloj” there is a hallway where they sell traditional sweets, it is called “el corredor del los dulces”.

Outside “la Torre del reloj”starts the oldest neighborhood in Cartagena outside the walled city called Getsemani.

A picture here is a must if you go to Barranquilla!
