Cartagena is beautiful, charming , full of history . The climate , intense heat with over 90% humidity is a bit tough but one gets used to it The colors, cobbled streets , plazas are amazing .

The old city of Cartagena is justifiably a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Every street is photo worthy. Make sure to pack water and stop for a bite at one of the hundreds of fantastic restaurants too.
This is an a gret holiday destination. Travel around the walled city - see the gold museum and the former armour now tourist shops. Great locations to see the sunset , and packed with good restaurants.
It is worth it. i will b back. the walls and the city inside is a paradise full of nice restaurants, nice folk music, the people are very happy.
