This is the last thing I would recommend in Cartagena. We booked the trip with Opitours for $70k plus port tax $15k. The first impression of this company was positive, they were in time to pick us from a hotel, and a lady(agent) spoke English....More

This tour is amazing! It depends what company you do it with, though. Backpackers made it unforgettable. They offer the best price too. Will do this again. Every year if possible

Thou the place is lovely and you can find a huge variety of different species of fishes and corals, it was too full of people and I could not swim without someone bumping with me

I wasn't sure about visiting the Islas del Rosario since I'm sun sensitive, but it was an excellent decision (my friends insisted!). The excursion to the Isla del Sol was muy bacano! These tiny islands have their own traditions. Almost all the workers are family....More

We charter a boat to take us to multiple islands around Cartagena. If you have the means, this is definitely the way to go... you avoid the busy beaches and overcrowded ferries heading that way

After several days of being disappointed with other tours and with a long wait for our boat, Rosario was delightful. We staked our beach lounges and enjoyed our time free from venders. Lunch was provided with our voucher; it was fine. Our adult kids enjoyed...More

This was a beautiful experience however we chose a terrible tour. Dont go with Yoni tours, we had to wait 3 hours picking up other people that weren't originally supposed to be on the boat and were boarding at random spots (they were avoiding paying...More

Visit the islands on an organized tour - otherwise you will be stuck in a very long line waiting to get on a small boat. Fun beach clubs, beautiful water, chill scene. Carry cash - limited credit card options.

We booked an 8:30am-4pm tour with Isla Lizamar (the boat was the Samuel David) at the concession docks outside of the walled city in Cartagena. We were told there was a one hour boat ride to Isla Rosario; then about 1.5 hours of snorkeling; a...More

It is ok, an hour ride from Cartagena on a rather comfortable boat, but if the sea is rough get ready for some roller coasting. The sea was not clear and the beach is quite small. It is an ok day trip, but I expected...More

I'm planning to go on a tour to Isla del Rosario... However, I was wondering if las lanchas rapidas are safe or if they are too fast for my 20 month old boy.. Has anyone have any experience doing this tour with a toddler? Thank you!!!!

Are you talking about the high speed boats that take you from Cartagena to the islands? If so, the ride back can be very choppy (because afternoon winds kick up some waves). It was pretty intense and most of us got soaked on... More

We are trying to book a tour, but are unable to reach the company. Is there any number we can call? The one listed on TripAdvisor is out of service. Thank you
