About a 7'200cop taxi ride from Granada area. The mercado Alameda offered a nice insight. We came here twice, once by street food tour and then by ourselves. The variety of fruits and local food and habits is just huge! It seems a bit chaotic...More

This market sells almost everything available in Colombia: flowers, food, household goods. The marketplace is surrounded by souvenir shops and small bars and restaurants. The market seems very autentic. Beware of pickpockets!

Though not as extensive as other markets in the area, this market brings you close to the people and culture. There are extensive varieties of fruit, vegetables, and other hand made goods. Be careful to not be taken advantage of, as tourists can. Prices are...More

Very expansive market, mostly for locals shopping for produce, fish and meats, and flowers. Many restaurant "stalls" competing for your attention. Virtually no tourists. While not gastronomic, gives a great sense of local life. There's a great empanada place on the perimeter. Also great flower...More
