About

I visited the Monumento Ventana al Mundo. It's such a beautiful piece of art. The water/soda sellers help you take pictures which is great. I would have like to have seeing information of how this monument was built, what is made off, etc.

The colorful monument is a must see while visiting Barranquilla, great place for a stroll and enjoying fresh air, just be careful crossing the busy street

Just enjoyed the view and the ocean breeze, and of course took some photos. Its a safe place to stop and take photos.
This is also impressive monument if you are on the top floors of the city hotels. Close or near, its very impressive.

When looking at a city the attractions (and popularity) can tell you alot about the people. It is rather telling when one of the cities main attractions is a ROUNDABOUT, yes, a traffic island, a place that connects some major roads infront of a big glass company factory and a cement factory.
So, luckily a big company has provided Barranquilla with an amazing, revolutionary new tourist site that the locals love. A traffic island. Yes! Come enjoy the amazing smell of those heavily polluting factories and passing traffic whilst you marvel at the height of the concrete and enjoy a hotdog, just yummy.
Come park your car on this busy roundabout with all the all the other 'tourists' who want to marvel at this cement and metal road structure. But please do be careful of all the passing trucks, motorbikes and cement lorries that are trying to use the roundabout as a roundabout.
Wow, you can walk around the traffic Island, enjoy the passing traffic as you take your important selfies.
I cant wait for the next tourist attraction

You might consider the “ventana” well-designed but where it’s situated detracts a lot from the experience of seeing it. It’s not very inviting to get out of the car and walk around. There’s not much space for parking and with the traffic it’s all a hassle. Situated in an industrial zone doesn’t seem like a smart idea.

A particular place, many people, too much, many vendors, too many. The site is very nice but a little overwhelming. To spend a moment and no more.

Safety, unfortunately is a concern in Colombia, but this monument area is very safe even at night, which is very refreshing, many youth and families were visiting.
