This park is in my parents' backyard. Easy to climb, more fresh air than the other parts of Wenzhou. Early in the morning and late in the evening, avoid as there are many people exercising. During the noon time, it gets way too hot. Watch out for thief!

I used to live in Lucheng district and would walk in Yangfushan park regularly. It's a large, well-manicured park, where one can take a really lovely walk or pack a lunch. The mountain itself has a few stepped paths leading up, not technical or too difficult, though you may want to take a few rest breaks if you're out of shape. A few areas of the steps are a bit steep. Once at the top you have a wonderful view of the north side of Wenzhou, including over the river and to the mountains. On a nice day, it's a really lovely hike. Like most places in China, it's over crowded on holidays, but great on just a regular weekday.

Yangfushan is a cool place...like to workout here. Although it's not too big, it's well kept. Not very busy during the day, but would avoid between 5-8pm, as it gets quite crowded.

All the old people of Wenzhou have good memories to it. Go up and have a nice look over the city. Next to it is a park where locals have a walk in the evening.

What's the easiest way to get here from downtown area? Like Wumalu?
