All of this area keeps the ancient buildings, it's a place for foodies, many small restaurants here, so you can find all of the local food; it's very crowded at nights.

It is now part of a massive market in the city center. Inside are many small shops where you can buy Chinese goods at bargain prices. You can bargain here. The tower next door is magnificent but you need to pay a fee to enter....More

This is a pretty basic market selling clothes, cosmetics, shoes, bags, and other items in little stalls inside. It's alright, worth a look if you are new to China/Ningbo, but it's nothing special once you have been places like it. Fun for a stroll.

The pagoda was nice, but the view just looks out onto the city. The shopping was very similar to that of many typical markets. I didn't find that the sellers were willing to bargain as much as I have found at other markets selling similar...More

I was fortunate to visit the Temple on the public holiday of 11 Sept. Mid-Autumn "moon-day" Mainly 1,000's of local visitors and the size of everything was amazing. Definitely worth a visit
