This is a bustling and crowded shopping street located that is just opposite my hotel and would pass by it everyday. Just like Nanjing Road in Shanghai or Beijing Road in Guangzhou, there are many departmental stores and shopping centers around the area, including souvenir and premium boutiques and there will be something that cater to your shopping needs. There are many "me too" shops and so do your market research first before committing in making a purchase because very likely you will find similar products selling at a lower price further away.

Besides meeting your shopping needs, there are also many restaurants, eateries and foodcourts around and you will have lots of choices, ranging from local cuisines to international ones like Japanese, Korean, Singapore etc and you will be spoiled for choices too.

Highly recommended.

春熙路 and 太古里 Pedestrian Walking street. One of the many type of such streets in China. Traditional old building structures, but occupied by modern establishments. One of the touristy things to do here is catching the 3D video wall just at the junction, very realistic videos, best viewed at night.

It's also near IFS so I went to take photos of the huge Panda statue, a famous 打卡点. Which obviously was crowded, so I didn't join the queue, just took a shot from afar. It's also here that I came across tour booking services and settled my tours for the next 2 days.

Just across the street from JW Marriott where i stayed so i popped by. It’s a pretty long street, and half of it was quite run down and covid affected. Mostly local china brands , very few global brands. There was 1 particular stall selling pork buns that had a really long queue

Just another normal shopping street, similar to most big cities you find in China. The normal big brands were all present, along with the normal restaurants and coffee shops. The only thing which stood out for me was the well-photographed Chengdu panda climbing the shopping centre! The local taxi drivers in this area didn't seem keen to take a foreigner, so be sure to have Didi up and running if you want to take a taxi from here. Alternatively, jump on a bike and cycle round the local area.

Yes, it is a nice street with the world famous brands. But I am not keen on window-shopping. Could buy only a T-shirt in Adidas shop for my son. Most shops require scanning a health app, which is tiresome. Just a wastevof time.

This is a popular shopping and night entertainment belt. It resembles the pedestrian streets of Nanjing West Road in Shanghai and Wanfujing in Beijing.

There are plenty of shops and restaurants here and the place comes alive at night with the neon lights.

I discovered both higher end restaurants and small shops offering popular Sichuan cuisines.

Given that this is right in the center of downtown, best way to visit is by public transport as the roads are very congested at peak hours.

The area has a metro station in the middle of it and is close to another must see area of Tai Koo Li. We also walked to the Anshun Bridge from here. The restaurants in this area can be quite overpriced but it is a very cool area to check out with cool displays, tall buildings, shops and the giant panda on IFS. The area is near impossible to get in and out of by Didi after 3 pm so do plan for metro or expect a long wait time. We found the area quite walkable and walked back to our hotel from here.

There are some very pricey restaurants but there are some cheap Xiao Mian and other noodle options on the side streets. We spent 21 RMB on a few good bowls in the area.

Lots of shops offering the usual merchandise to tourists, including pharmacies and medical halls. Can easily spend a few there.
