This area is not easy to find as it is quite a bit off the main road within a park made up of a large water reservoir. I got off at the stop after Chengdu University on line 4 and starting walking back West to the park entrance. The park is huge and is a destination for locals to get away from the city.

The Mausoleum itself is ok and I would add this to a trip to Loudai as it is on the way there.

I used an Ofo bike within the park (they accepted my Western credit card which the other bike sharing companies don’t appear to accept) which made hunting for the tomb better.

The adventure was interesting and got me out of the city. It really is in the middle of nowhere. Don’t expect anyone here to speak English.

This place is off the beaten track and is difficult to find due to the current construction of the Metro line 4. The number 80, 97 and 219 buses come by this area if you can find them. The tombs are located at the end of an obscure road opposite Chengdu University. Despite the effort it was well worth it. There are actually two tombs on site. You can enter for a small admission fee. I paid 25RMB for two adults and two children. It was spooky as we descended into the tomb like we were part of an Indiana Jones adventure. There is also a tea house with a large pond full of fish and a children's playground.
