Comparing with Nanjing Pedestrian Street in Shanghai, or some Street like that in Nanjing, Suzhou, Jinli street is just "so so". It's more narrow than Wide and Narrow Alley. We got here by taxi from Wide and Narrow Alley, it took 10 mins and price was 10 RMb. There are plenty of foods and souvenirs here. The pubs with singer... More

Worth a visit, but don't go expecting any real history of culture. The area was packed with tacky tourist shops, Starbucks and other international chains.

Compared to the 'old streets' of Chengdu, this seems to be the most authentic and beautiful of the lot. It is lovely in the day and at night when the lanterns are lighted. The lanes are lined with handicraft, souvenir and food shops. It was cold when we were there, so it was quite pleasant walk around the area.

We love this place. Its so lovely in the day time. That we decided to make another trip during the night to get to see the place lighted up. Prices of souveniors are very reasonable. Food prices be it in the shops or the street food are all reasonable. Do make a visit there. Its worth it.

Very interesting, great buying and great vibe. Some different food choices such as pig snouts, rabbit head and feet and delicious seafood skewers. Got very busy by 8pm at night.

We stopped by for a walk through and being a world traveller I have see these streets in every country you go to, but we decided to be a tourist and have a look. Lots of food stalls selling all Chengdu's crazy chinese snacks, rabbit heads, pig snouts, and lots more. Good if you are an adventurous eater. Many stalls... More

There was plenty of different snacks to try here and a lot of little souvenir shops. There's also a lot of tea houses where you can sit and relax. The streets are very beautiful and we really enjoyed sitting next to the lake and taking everything in. It gets a little crowded but there are some really nice areas to... More

Here you can watch a show, shopping, eating and drinking. Nice place to visit. Been there two times and it's great at daylight and at night. Worth the visit. You may also buy some souvenirs and traditional objects like paper made puppets and other stuff. Definitly a nice place to take a walk.

Almost everything available in Jinli: souvenirs, local food, fried chicken and burger, beer, tea, fruit juice, and even mask opera house! People mostly visit in the afternoon until a bit late in the night, which is the crowded time. Cou can take metro, then take 15 mins walk. Before going to Jinli, you can visit the monastery just next to... More
