Bring good shoes and walk up!! the cable cars were out of service when I was there, and now I'm so glad it was. Walking up Heng mountain is absolutely amazing and with the most gorgeous views all the way up to the temples :)

If you are going to the Hanging Monastery you should also include a trip to this monument, it is a hike but you can also take a taxi ride to the top. I would recommend it just for the views.
