A large clean, pretty, and peaceful park

A park usually filled with wedding couple getting their pictures taken. If you are into watching couples take turns getting the same pictures taken in the same shots all day bring a few cold ones and some snacks. The park offers that a nice little hole up a mountain to a television tower with a view.

This park is a great place to relax at. You can enjoy the nice flowers, get nice pictures of a Chinese gazebo in the middle of a lake with lily pads, play some basketball, or listen to an older man playing an instrument to the tune of traditional Chinese music. I really enjoyed this park a lot. Even the restrooms... More

I visited Zhongshan Park with a friend, as she had never seen it before. It is a fairly large park with many flower beds erc. Always very busy as well. Nice place to relax

The park is large, with many sub-sections, including the zoo, and there is a huge variety of fauna within. Whilst there are signs in Chinese and English it is easy to get lost as the various destinations in the park have no overall orientation. Paths though are well maintained and despite the many visitors at weekends it did not seem... More

This is the place to be in spring when the flowers start to bloom. The main thoroughfare is lined with cherry trees; their blossoms erupt in a cool, bubblegum pink against deep brown limbs and the sight is one of the prettiest I've ever beheld. We lived in Qingdao for six months and this was one of the things that... More

There are a collection of differently managed gardens which form a part of ZhongShan park. To walk around these costs nothing. There are water features, occasional pagodas and seating areas sprinkled between the abundance of well manicured plant life. Walking around the park is very relaxing, there's plenty of shade available for the summer months and in spring the cherry... More

It's so different from the dirty urban city, which makes it seem even better. The cherry blossoms in the spring are wonderful as well, but they only last for about a week so follow the Facebook group or something to not miss it. It also has a theme park, which is great for children. There's a zoo, but we haven't... More

A pleasant enough park that is overloaded with locals on the weekend. The flowers are beautiful in the spring and the mock west lake is a pleasant enough sight. Not as large as advertised by many people, this is due to the amusement park and the zoo (do not go, it will just make you sad) Overall a pleasant stroll... More

It was so-so. The negatives: There were a lot of people everywhere. It was very noisy. Either children screaming (which is okay or not, depending on a park and your point of view), or people yelling into their cell phones, or squawk-boxes blaring out some kind of advert or info or "music") ... it was just noisy. Not a quiet,... More

The biggest park in Qingdao, very beautiful in Spring and Summer. Be suitable for taking a walk or playing with kids. The ticket is free, but not include the Zoo.
