An easy walk from Spring City Square and Daming Lake, this tranquil park offers rare glimpses of large spring sources. The water is noticeably clear with plenty of koi fish for amusement. My Chinese wife purchased the tickets with her phone for only ¥20. This was by far the best of similar destinations, including our recent trip to Suzhou. During the Summer, you can opt to take a water taxi from the park "harbor" for a 10 - ¥60 upcharge.

This was a nice walk for my family. My son was able to hop around and check out the springs. We went on a weekend in September and it was PACKED. If though it was packed, we still had a lovely time walking around. We spent about 60 minutes walking around before we were for lunch.

It was our second visit to Baotu spring. We stayed in intercontinental hotel so it's walk-in distance.

One of the highlights of Jinan is to visit baotu spring park. The challenge is always the crowds when trying to visit destination for tourists in China. Since the park is not too small and not too big then definitely you'll find the share of crowds and no crowds as you roam around. In general i enjoyed the stroll would recommend anyone visiting Jinan to come by the place.

Visited here on one of our first few days in Jinan. The water levels were low, but the park was beautiful and peaceful. There was many tourist shops dotted around the park which sold refreshments and snacks too. As we were part of a group, I felt our wander around the park was rushed, and would like to revisit and take in more. The highlight was wandering around reading the (very) poorly translated warning signs from Chinese into English.

Baotu Spring Park was well worth a visit. Interesting architecture and rock formations. The springs are not as impressive as photos would have you believe because of the reduction of flow but still worth a visit.

The Baotu spring is extremely famous in China. It is called No1 spring in China.I bought the ticket via online travel agency. No that expensive, but the park was extremely crowded due to the summer holiday. The location of the park is good, almost in the city centre.I came into the park via the northern gate and walked a little bit.The Baotu spring is surrounded by many tourists.Quite difficult to find a spot to take photos.Waited for a long time and got the spot to take some photos. The park is quite big and it is designed and built up very well.Just need to pay 10yuan and you get the drinkable Baotu spring.
