The Qinq Fu mausoleum is more interesting that the Qinq Zhao mausoleum which is located within Beiling park. Trade-off is that you have to journey outside of the city to see it. If you have limited time I would recommend the Qing Zhao over this...More

The Fuling or Dongling Mausoleum is one of my favorite places in mainland China. I was able to visit on a weekday and while there were Chinese tourists there, it wasn't overrun with people climbing on ancient structures, smoking in front of no-smoking signs, or...More

The entrance in tomb requires an entrance fee you pay at the park entrance. The Exhibits are all copies of antiquities. Nice for architecture fanatics and history lovers. The details in the stone carvings are exceptional. For the rest , a nice "museum"visit.

I don't know what else to say except to advise you to save 50RMB and simply skip this UNESCO site. If you've been to the Gu Gon in Beijing, there's no reason for you to visit this poorly maintained site.

The tombs, more commonly known as the East Tomb Park (Dong Ling Gong Yuanr), are a great outing from the city. Just a few kms outside of the third ring road, the park is wooded and lush. The tomb sits at the back of the...More
