(Yes you are allowed to pick the stones up and test your strength by throwing them into the water - watching how far the stone goes) Visited this park at night. After local dinner time, locals start dancing at this park with loud music, and anyone is free... More

This park is a great place to come and stretch your legs and enjoy the outdoors. The park is right on the water and worth visiting for an afternoon and there are many plenty of places to grab a beverage or meal near by.

Located by the coast, the park had numerous attractions, including a sea life centre, amusement park, ski slope. Went in Winter Time, when it was bitterly cold although most people just wrapped up and enjoyed themselves. I could imagine this area being highly popular in the Summer.

Make sure you plan your arrival time to take in a couple of the animal shows. To be honest I didn't understand... More

The Xinghai Park is a grand square in Dalian and visiting the park in winter is an interesting experience on its own with the cold wind and freezing temperature.

Great place to experience a special type of Chinese culture. Walking around Xinghai you get to experience local sports figures, the architecture, and at times opportunities to see special events.
