My girlfriend had not been since she was quite little so we went. For a medium sized zoo, Dalian Forest Zoo has plenty of animals to see including multiple pandas, lions, tigers, and bears. A unique aspect - which is prohibited in the USA -...More

China's Dalian Forest Zoo is an absolute disgrace. We expected so much better since this zoo houses the revered Chinese Pandas. The Panda enclosure was spacious and they appeared to be well cared for. However, the entire zoo beyond that was a disgrace. Both large...More

This is a very big zoo and you can spend the whole day there. As the attractions are far from each other you need to walk quiet far. Great tiger area with lots of tigers. Unfortunately people feed the animals which is not so nice

Wasn't expecting such a large zoo, but the $20 entrance fee allows you to view an incredible assortment of animals. Our highlight was the elephant show - a must see

The premises is huge so prepare yourself for a lot of walking! Although the rewards are worth it, there is lot to see and plenty to take in with the panda's given center stage. Try to get there early so you have plenty of time...More

The entrance is on Binhai. There's a second, smalle, northern entrance, but most people use the Binhai entrance.
