Not a bad choice after all. Full of people (local and tourist) on a weekend. There is a Food court near by themed after Taiwanese Night Bazaar. Musical Fountain is the main attraction. Plus the light show sharts at round 8.30pm. worth the walk after all under a cool night.

I was tired when I went on the boat trip to see the lights. It is totally amazing and unlike anything I have seen in USA. Don't miss this.

Nanchang at night is best seen from the Ferris Wheel (Star of Nanchang) but to complement this one should go to the water square to watch the colorful water show as well as the light show on the city buildings. The whole city area is beautifully lit but there are also big crowds. All one needs to do is to... More

My spouse and I were strolling along the river when we stumbled upon this! The fountain's colours and actions were beautifully in sync with music and it was a joy to watch. The attraction can get very crowded during national holiday and weekends, so I suggest going mid week if possible. There is a metro station right around the corner... More

Taken there by a friend who lives in the city. Really good evening. However really packed as it was a National Holiday. Definately worth taking the time out to see the fountains and the light show.

Well Nanchang has certainly carved a niche for itself with this quite spectacular fountain and coloured light show set to music. Hordes of people on a warm summer night. Stay for the light show on the office buildings.

We visited on a warm clear night, and the show was quite spectacular. Make sure you see it when the weather is good as there is no shelter

The nightly show at the Autumn Water Square was definitely worth visiting, with a choreographed fountain, light and music show. Make sure you stay for the sound and light laser show that follows. Moving images are projected onto surrounding high rise buildings making a spectacular and unique show.

This fountain show was by far the most elaborate that I have ever seen. It was amazing! The buildings all around the river light up and tell a story after the fountains give a beautiful performance. It was worth the trip for sure!
