We were told these gardens were the inspiration for many other gardens around China and we could see why. Very beautiful and I could see them being very relaxing for the original owner. It was definitely worth the visit to these ancient gardens

No peace and tranquility here--a student on every rock. It was a Sunday when we were there, so maybe different during the week. Worth a walk thru

Like most gardens in Suzhou, this one is very beautiful and well taken care of. With the vegetation and the ponds it makes the visit more relaxing.

We came across this garden by chance after visiting Tiger Hill and had the place to ourselves. Lovely and peaceful, well maintained and exquisitely laid out with beautiful buildings plants and ponds. Well worth a visit.
