Popular location. Tranquil gardens and historic icons. Good for a visit and to catch a break from the City.

The place was packed with tourist when we get there around 10 am. There is a rmb80 entrance fee. Be prepared to climb the staircase in the pagoda. The steep and narrow staircase plus the crowd makes it a hazard for all young and old. It was not so pleasant with the many people jostling inside the narrow viewing gallery.... More

The Yellow Crane Tower's name can be something of a misnomer depending on how you hear it! You can either go expecting a Yellow Crane or a Tower! Either way you walk away with a treat! Once you pay the entrance fee, collect your map and physically orient yourself, prepare for your heartbeat to slow down! Beyond the entrance gate... More

Quite a climb up many stairs, but worthwhile to see. Again a good impression of Ancient China. Nice to visit on a cool day

If you have an in-depth knowledge of all the famous Chinese poets such as Li Bai, you will love this place! There are about 6 storey in total and many things to learn at each level of the yellow crane. There are many stairs to walk outside the yellow crane tower and you have to be cautious when walking through... More

Was there on 7 Aug 2016, one of the hottest days in Wuhan this year, I really enjoyed scaling the 5 floors tower! Stayed there for about 90 min, from 18-19.30 and personally witnessed when the lights lit up the tower at 19:00)) This grandiose view reminds me of XI An's Big Goose Pagoda, very beautiful in the distance)

It was a pleasant place to visit and interesting to see the tower and works within that are mostly recreations since the original tower was destroyed. I would plan to spend a couple hours seeing the tower and you will need to walk up (and down) 5 stories of steps to see all of it, so it may not be... More

Nice and peaceful location for a half day sight seeing trip. The YCT sits within a large garden complex. You should plan 2-4 hours for your visit and you will do a lot of walking. The tower itself is nice, but bear in mind it is only about 40 years old, having being rebuilt 12 times over many hundreds of... More

China has too many landmarks with rich history stories to tell. Yellow Crane Tower is just one of them. I find ticket is expensive & nothing much to see. It is famous simply because of the famous poet Li Bai was once here before. This place could probably take up 2hours of your time.
