It's a typical Chinese food alley - part of it is under construction so a bit messy at the moment. The unaffected part is reasonably clean and busy. Many of the stuffs here can be found elsewhere.

Saw a lot of people complained about the smell but didn't have the problem when I was there. I suspect this could be due to the 'smelly tou fu' shop which typically does smell like a dirty drain. Otherwise, many interesting local snacks and food...More

Spend hours here, the shopping is fabulous. traffic free and boy, what a selection of goods. The local people can make themselves understood by actions, great place for getting lost for days in all the shops.

I won't recommend this place. It is a low quality food and place. It smells like food was spoiled. I didn't find anything interesting.

Be sure to try the Octopus Balls. Many choices from traditional Wuhan pancakes to dumplings. Crowded and fun. We didn't go to other street markets in Wuhan so cannot compare.
