Another main attraction of Wuhan. It is a good place in the morning to get a snack before going round to see the other attractions in Wuhan. Cant get really crowded on a weekend or holiday.

I stopped off here on the way to the Yellow Crane Tower from the ferry crossing. It is loud, colourful and vibrant. Lot's of local 'fast foods' on offer. There is a lot of building work going on on the main street at the moment, but not really an issue. If you are going to the YCT, it is worth... More

Not an interesting place for the non-Chinese travelers. A crowdie place. Very popular with the locals for eating. Mostly the young people are there. Very near to the famous Yellow Crane Tower of Wuhan. Hundreds of small restaurants and food stalls with all types of local foods available. Enjoyed the crowd, but nothing else.

It's a typical Chinese food alley - part of it is under construction so a bit messy at the moment. The unaffected part is reasonably clean and busy. Many of the stuffs here can be found elsewhere.

Saw a lot of people complained about the smell but didn't have the problem when I was there. I suspect this could be due to the 'smelly tou fu' shop which typically does smell like a dirty drain. Otherwise, many interesting local snacks and food being served and one of the stop is the authentic sesame noodle which Wuhan is... More

Spend hours here, the shopping is fabulous. traffic free and boy, what a selection of goods. The local people can make themselves understood by actions, great place for getting lost for days in all the shops.

I'm not really a fan of the arrays of local delicacies and snacks offered here but the experience of walking down the streets wasn't that bad eventhough it's a bit crowded. However, if you want to dare your tastebuds to local food, this might be one of the good places to try as you can find varieties of street food... More

I won't recommend this place. It is a low quality food and place. It smells like food was spoiled. I didn't find anything interesting.

Be sure to try the Octopus Balls. Many choices from traditional Wuhan pancakes to dumplings. Crowded and fun. We didn't go to other street markets in Wuhan so cannot compare.

We went here to have authentic food for breakfast. The problem was the smell! It was like rot and decay was all around. It's very difficult to eat when you are choking on the smells around you. There is also no clean place to use the bathroom. We even saw a parent hold his daughter over a trash can to... More
