Very nice place with lots of fun ! Only one thing, staff dont speak any English and this activity will not be good for families with kids. Takes about 3 hours to finish the activity

I will focus on this one attraction. Once you got your ticket you go for the bus shuttles. Next to the departure point there's a counter where you can buy tickets, 100 RMB. I'd say: worth it. Another 10 RMB buys you a watertight bag for your cellphone. You will need it. Don't worry about your other belongings, they will... More

Can't remember the exact prices, I think it's 80 RMB for the zipline, 80 RMB for the lunch buffet and 160 RMB for the entry tickets if I recall correctly. The lunch buffet was decent and provides decent value, unlike most food found in tourist attractions. You'll typically spend around 2-3 hours in the Yanoda Rain forest. The entire place... More

Yanoda tropical Rain forest(呀诺达雨林文化旅游区) located 35 KM away from Sanya in the middle of Hainan Island is a natural tropical rainforest area. As we entered there was a dance show with people dancing at the top of the man made tree in all four direction. Some were male and some were female and their face was masked and dressed up... More

I was talked into going there. I must say I thought it would be very interesting. Nope. Some nice trees and foilage. That's it. The whole deal is too commercial and seemed like the only reason this location is there is to make money. Your money is better spent elsewhere. There is really nothing much to see and you'll be... Yes I agree with the other reviewers, this is not like the rain forests that are in remote locations and I don't think it is promoted that way; what it is, is an easy accessable nature experience. If you want to escape the crowds we suggest travelling on the steeper tracks higher up. Also the English audio guide was informative.

we travelled in during spring festival time and it wasn't so busy or it was just very well organised. When we arrived it was quick and easy to buy tickets and from there you go to a short que to take the bus up into the rainforest itself. If you are a non Chinese speaker you are given a headset... ..... once you have been to real rain forests as e.g. on Lombok Island, Indonesia. One is being driven (expensive) to various school type forest exhibits, gets an impression of how a rain forest may look like. A place you go to with your kids if you don't have other plans. Rather go to Monkey Island.

I was convinced by friend from mainland to visit this attraction, knowing this place had made a movie and it is very romantic. Not knowing what I was getting myself into I agreed to go. Upon arriving this place, I realized it is extremely hot and humid. Then from there nothing but walking man made trails and felt like walking... More
