Very impressive with the huge Godness of Mercy statue and the entire property. Very spacious and serene. Too bad we didn't queue up to get to the bottom of the Godness's feet as we were rushing for time.

If you are a fan of Chinese calligraphy and pottery, then this museum is worth a visit. There is no entrance fee and it should take you around an hour to have a look around. Information in English accompanies all exhibits.

Do not be fool by some taxi drivers offering trip to this place without having to pay for entrance fees. They'll probably showed you nearby and view the statue from behind without going into the place.

Visited the Museum and was most impressed with displays etc. Most had English translations and showed how Hainan Island is what it is today. You need your passport for entry. Well worth the visit.
