Let me start off by letting the non-Chinese speaking reader be aware that “Jing Shan” means scenic mountain, so when you say “Mt Jingshan” you actually mean “Mountain Scenic Mountain” LOL.

Anyway, our visit to this mountain was actually impromptu, because we had come to this place specifically to eat at the famous “Pork Lady” restaurant (directly translated from Zhuroupo”) which serves authentic shunde Cantonese cuisine - it’s really good, btw.

After lunch we discovered a cable car next door and decided to just go up to take a look. Costs 70RMB per pax for two way cable car; you can also choose to take a slide down, which I didn’t because my elderly mum wasn’t comfortable with that.

The cable car is a short ride.

At the hilltop, there are some photogenic spots, a convenience store, a little cafe, a game station, and a trail. I didn’t complete the trail because my mum didn’t want to walk, but if you complete it, apparently you can see macau and HK. Take care when walking as some stone steps are not so “obvious”.

We spent about half hour. It’s ok, I guess. Works to improve it are still ongoing.

This is a simple and quick to get good views of Zhuhai, including the Opera House and the Fisher Girl. It was a hot day so I wasn’t about to walk up, and I was glad for the cable car. You can walk around up top and get different views. The “toboggan” down is relatively safe. A park employee leads a “train” of toboggans down and controls the speed. It is good fun.

There is a full view of ZhuHai. Cable car to the top and slid cart return to the ground. It costs RMB80 per trip. The top of the hill is not large but you can walk down from the hill. It should be nice if you are not hurry.

Jingshan is a small hill in downtown Zhuhai. This urban park is the best place for an unobstructed view of the city and the sea. A stroll along the new hilltop boardwalk is the favorite morning activity for locals. While the uphill walk is rewarding, tourists may consider taking the new cable car.

A scary cable car ride up to the top of Mt. Jingshan park (also known as Mt. Shijing Park). Panoramic views of the Zhuhai city, coastline, the bridge, some islands and the Opera House. The views coming down the cable have stunning water views! The cable car cost 60 RMB for a return trip and has many other activities! Our purpose was to experience the panoramic views! You can walk to the top of the mountain if you wish!

Took cable car up there for about $60 RMB. The view was pretty good, especially the ocean. It was not crowed during Wednesday. This is not a must see attraction. There are other place that are better. We happens to pass by and decided to go up there.

There are two gates. one will lead you to take the cable car and the other, a long walk up the mountain. it was a slippery steep climb up without any handrails. by the time we reach the top, we are perspiring very badly.but later when we climbed down and decided to check out the cable car ride,we found another route to the peak (at the main entrance). A much easier (concrete) route up.

We hired a van for half a day and one of the scenic spot is Mt Jingshan Park which is free admission. The driver fleeced us by selling cable car (chair lift) tickets at RMB$100 per person 2-ways. He told us it was cheaper to buy from him. Later I went to check at the ticket booth and it's only RMB$60. When I questioned him he lied that It's for 1 way only. Anyway I kept my tips and didn't include him for lunch which I intended to do. The cable car ride was nothing fantastic if you've taken the cable car up to Genting Highlands before. The surrounding is more or less the same as Genting Highland. It wasn't crowded at the top of the park as it was off peak season. Nothing much to see except for 2 sovenier shops. The view from the top was quite nice though.

Great views of all surrounding areas. Choose to walk up or take the cable car (ski lift) up. Cable car can also be taken down, or take the sliding cars down which looked pretty fun. But I would recommend only doing one: The cable car and sliding cars are now both 35rmb one way, so that would be a little steep at 70rmb a person to ride both.
