I am not an outlet shopper myself, I find them dull and really overpriced. This place is just that, I found it while walking as its only 3 minutes from my new apartment.
Dameisha is an expensive area and the prices in this outlet reflect that, China has so many cheaper options I fail to see their business plan.
For a westerner I can see the attraction with the brand names, Clarks and Skechers to name but a few, there is even a Burger king and Starbucks.
Better value to be had elsewhere, not here.

It is okay, but not as good as to what I am used to. What is missing are the larger outlet store for the bigger brand names. It is a nice walking there and viewing the lake, and walking on the pedestrian bridges, There is an element of shopping-excitement missing. I prefer the wholesale markets of Guangzhou for bargain prices and exciting shopping.

Very Nice place to shop over hundreds of brands and spend an afternoon with friends. we were supposed to go to the DaMeisha beach, but were disappointed getting there, so we're trying to find a nice place to find a drink, and suddenly found this well planned shopping place and had a nice time there.

The outlet looks like a small European city on the outskirts of one of the busies cities in Asia. There is a Starbucks were we usually stop when driving to the seaside.

Took a break from walking the beach, and went shopping at the upmarket Daneisha Outlets Shopping Village (DMS Outlets). It is home to about 200 clothing and fashion shops, a cafe, Pizza Hut, and a beer house DMS Outlets is a few minutes walk from the Sheraton Dameisha Resort, and essentially across the street from the main entrance to Dameisha Beach, and Seaside Plank Road.
This area of the city used to be the former home of a small fishing village. The wise government officials recognized that this would be a great place for an exceptionally beautiful public beach and resort area, and as that developed very favourably and brought in many visitors, other businesses were drawn to Dameisha Beach area, including the demand for or likely success of having an outlet mall here.
Although a few of the locations had a 30% sale, we found prices to be much higher than at the outlet malls in the USA and Canada.
In many ways with the bodies of water and bridges connecting the sections of the mall, it is much nicer than most outlets in the USA. At the same time, it is home to many of the same outlet stores, together with some Chinese and other Asian outlets.
Prices are higher than typically in USA, because of import duties.
However, it is a great place for visitors to walk around and spend some time. Although I had no initial plans to buy anything, I did spend US$240 buying some clothing.
I am attaching photos of the brochure I picked up t the DMS Outlets’ service office, which lists the retail stores and other businesses it houses.

We spent two weeks in Dameisha and went to the outlets area several times. There are some stores that had nice things at decent prices. However, nobody should be fooled, prices are full sticker price!
We liked that there were several western restaurants in the outlet area. We ate there several times but found the German Restaurant to be totally unacceptable. Fake beer, tough and sour meat and only have of the items they show on the menu.
Be sure to avoid this take German restaurant!
They claim to have 200 stores. Maybe...
There is a mix of both high-priced and more economically-priced stores intermixed with the restaurants and a nice setting with bridges and islands.
This could be a very nice place in the evenings with the addition of some music and dancing.
Check it out.

Wasn't originally planning on going here but came across the outlet mall when heading for the Dameisha beach. Name brands are what Chinese like and many of them are here and with some good discounts. (Note discount prices are still higher than USA retail but still much better than anything I have found elsewhere in China.)
