China new year holiday starts from feb 5 and lasts almost 15 to 20 days. So by feb 25 you can expect all the city will be back to normal working. Shenzhen is located near sea and weather is very very nice all year. Either go to shenzhen by Hongkong or direct flight to shenzhen. Guangzhou airport is too busy and need almost 2 hours to 4 hours to reach shenzhen by guangzhou.
