This is one of the oldest shopping areas in Dongguan. There are several streets lined with shops selling everything from tea, traditional clothing, snacks and souvenirs. A great place to grab a cup of coffee in the afternoon and an even better bar scene at night with small bars located throughout the area. One of the best kept secrets in... More

A walk down Dongguan Walking Street was 'nice' but is very touristy with many souvenir shops and eateries.

Lovely area with little shops and places to eat! I don't come here very often but once in a while when looking for or shopping for something different! More so gift shopping! Very cool at night time if you go for a walk at night!

At night or day this is a great place. There is always something the go here. Little stalls to choose from or little places to sit down and eat. Even just a stroll at night to see it all lit up is worth leaving the house.

The only reason we go to the Walking Street is to go to Treasures of Hope. Apart from this its doesnt offer an extensive array of options. Parking is always a problem and can add to the frustration so better to take a taxi. Treasures of Hope always offers something new and is a great place to pop in and... More

The walking street is just that, in that there is no traffic. The shops differ very little from others in the city. Always crowded the street is quite a long one and it would take a couple of hours to walk it all without going into any shops. The stuff on sale varies from the usual tat to some very... More

Lots of music stores! Many people take piano or violin lessons in studios along this street and you can hear them playing. There are many tea shops with very friendly staff that will invite you in to try some tea. Don't be scared to sti down and have tea with them!
