An excelent place to visit if you're staying near the bay. The park itself was a bit hard to reach, and there werent really enough signs. This is a great place to go for a walk. On weekends there are lots of people feeding the water birds. The broad bike/walk paths along the river make for a pleasant time. The boardwalk (pictured) is best when the area is not crowded, and especially would be fun for children.

Really liked the wetlands, with luscious trees, flowers, and wide variety of birds. Beautiful to just walk around and enjoy nature. Stayed at the Xiamen Aqua resort which was conveniently located right on the wetlands. We didn't need mosquito nets, but I imagine you would do during different parts of the year.
