Nice setup with different theme. Try to avoid weekends as there is many locals taking wedding photo. You can either walk to all sections or take shuttle bus that cost you 10 , you may stop on each section and carry on to another garden

My local friend recommended this place. It’s more than just a botanical garden. There are a couple of temples. I visited Tai Ping Yan Temple. It’s also a good place for hiking if you choose all small paths. Also, on the top, there is nice...More

I went there in the morning. Not too many people, the place was big and quiet! But as a botanical garden, I expect to see more species!

Very nice botanical garden that includes monuments, sculptures, etc. honoring various provinces of China and their architectural heritage. Unfortunately, these sites are not peopled so there is no sense of how the flora and buildings related to their populations.

It was nice to spend some hours there but was a bit disappointed. Maybe because the September typhoon caused a lot of damage. Half of the park is hiking! And you can easily get lost as the maps isn't precise and there's a lack of...More

Xiamen is not a big city. A taxi will do at less than 100 RMB. There's a railroad park right next to the Botanical Garden's main gate, and it's worth going. You may plan to visit it after you come out of the botanical... More
