We always enjoy going there for a walk when we are in town. Don't miss out the side streets. There you find also small cafes and galleries. You also can enter some private owned homes. near with Sanfang Qixiang & getting big wooden house with some shop for selling stuff. busy street but not bad. at least keeping same feeling of Sanfang Qixiang & deco also old style. that was ok

Nope Chinese do not know the Labour day. So all sites are Open...I‘m pretty sure they are always open, maybe except Chinese New Year, but at this time of the year you don’t want to travel in China anyways
