Don't bother, polluted water, lots of construction, hopefully Improved in the future. A circle walkway with not much to see.

Xihu - meaning West Lake. Not to confuse with West Lake in Hangzhou :) My mother-in-law brought us here as it's a place she loves to go when she was young. It's a nice and peaceful place in the city. Great for slow walk, morning exercises, running and boating. We rented a electric boat and sailed around to enjoy the... More

The park retains a calm atmosphere, and seems rather out of place among the towering buildings surrounding it. The public toilets were indeed scary and to be avoided unless you don't have a keen sense of smell. Lovely Banyan trees to be seen.

Typical Chinese lakeside park. The Fujian Museum is adjacent. A place where the locals head to relax

The Xihu Park was near my apartment so I have been for a walk a few times and I think it is a very nice park with a lovely pagoda and view where you can also lend a boot to explore the lake around the park but there are a lot of parks like this in the world one so... More

A very large park, with many different things to do and see. I have been here several times, and I always find something new to see. The buildings around the park are lit with multi-coloured lights at night. There are many restaurants, bars, and hotels nearby

West Park Lake was created during the Jin dynasty. It is a popular recreational area for locals with a small zoo, a temple and numerous pagodas and pavilions on the waters edge. Nice for a stroll and to mingle with the local crowd.

We didn't go to Panda World here, but everywhere else was picturesque and a joy to explore. Lovely place to take a quiet stroll. Paddle boats are a bit difficult to steer, but are a fun idea. There are live performances almost every night.

While not as well maintained as perhaps the park in some other cities, it is still a very nice park.

Although this lake and park area shares a name with its brother in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province it is much smaller and less impressive. However it does have a love lake and park area, various activities (boats on the lake, a zoo with pandas etc) and is pretty enjoyable for an afternoon stroll. It is well kept, clean and pleasant.
