West Lake Park is always crowded but is well worth the visit. Beautiful bonsai poised against antique walls, views of the city over the lake, boating on the lake - all are reasons why this park has been around for over 1,000 years. Definitely a...More

A lovely park for a stroll. Apparently also locals enjoy this atmosphere so it easily can become crowded. At night the buildings are illuminated with loud colored lights. I assume it's popular in China to illuminate everything, but I prefer the beauty of the park...More

A very big lake built in the middle of the city. A nice walk after meal for digestion. Many locals spend time here for a walk, jogging and picnic with their family. Nothing much to shout about.

It's quite a big Park. Can spend 1-2 hours. There is paddle boat, manual and motorised. If you take that, add another 40 mins. Nice to walk around. Kids will enjoy. After that, can walk 10-15 mins to San fang qi xiong.

though the real West Lake in Hangzhou is huge and famous, I love the quaint feel of Fuzhou's West Lake! It is beautiful and clean.

This is a scenic and free (!) park. Offers beautiful walking paths through pagodas and flower gardens. We visited with a 2 year old and still very much enjoyed the experience.

Xihu - meaning West Lake. Not to confuse with West Lake in Hangzhou :) My mother-in-law brought us here as it's a place she loves to go when she was young. It's a nice and peaceful place in the city. Great for slow walk, morning...More
