This was part of our day tour to Torres del Paine (from Puerto Natales). It takes about 1 hour, is an easy walk, and is interesting, although the wooden outlines of extinct animals is somewhat cheesy. Good archaeological overview.

Nice to see the size of the cave and imagine people and animals living and sheltering here, but there are no remains, so just go for the walk and experience.

Nature and history are interesting but this is nothing special. It's a large cave and a bit of hike. You can take a photo by the Milodon replica

The Milodon cave transports you to a prehistoric world when dinosaurs roamed Patagonia and few people survived in nature's special places like the Milodon cave. A must see in Patagonia alongside the Cueva de las Maos in Argentina.

It is a small cave with some excavations where they found the Milodon. If you have traveled so far, visit it, it is a short walk.

If you have a free day to spend in Puerto Natales then okay to visit - some good views of Torres Del Paine but you aren't missing anything if you are pressed for time

This was our first stop in the national park. We enjoyed seeing this and walking through it and hearing the history behind it.

We saw the "Cueva del Milodon" as part of a full day tour. What we didn't realize until afterwards is that when you see the cave as part of a full day tour you only see one small area that honestly isn't worth it. If you are going to go, catch a taxi out there on your own and spend... More

We stopped here on the way back to Puerto Natales from Torres Del Paine, and it was interesting. It's a short hike up from the entrance, and while it was paved and so wheelchair accessible, part of the trail has been closed, and there are many stairs, impossible for wheelchairs and tough for kids' buggies. The statue at the cave's... More

It was inexpensive and interesting. A great place to spend an hour on our way back to Puerto Natales from Torres del Paine.
