A beautiful trek with amazing landscape, even before you meet the glacier. If I remember correctly, the trek to the glacier is not too challenging. Certainly doable for most hiking skill levels.

Great Grey but less impressive than the Perito moreno. It is also hard to find a free beds at the refugee grey.

The blue ice is absolutely incredible. Highly recommend the boat tour! If you get lucky, you will even see ice fall!

Hotel Lago Grey had some unscheduled Boat Trips with space end April. Bit expensive ( 150K Chil pesos for 2?), but still was great to see glacier from so close.

The area is extremely windy and typical of Patagonia. Wear your sunglasses no matter the time of day to shield your eyes.

We took a tour that take me and my gf near the glacier, it was like 3 hours watching icebergs and cold mountains, for persons who doesn't have ice in their countries this is an unforgettable experience !

If you're asking about the boat trip to the glacier, there's really only one company. It's run by the concession at the Hotel Lago Grey. You can book it through other hotels or whatever, but they'll pretty much all wind up... More
