Torres del Paine is beautiful and a must see! We didn't have enough time to do the W trek so we did a modified 3 day, 2 night version. With this shorter version we missed out on Glacier Grey and didn't get to the base...More

This place is stunning and there is no denying it however it is very busy with overflowing campsites and sometimes queues on trails. We did the W in December and this was only shoulder season. Book a camping spot if you are camping in advance...More

Being from Colorado, I have to say I was blown away by the beauty. The weather is unpredictable, but like Colorado, wait 5 minutes and it'll change. You can't come this far to say you didn't see TdP.

As expected, we encountered a bit of rain, but what we were able to see was exceptional. I didn’t come across any mention of the floating pieces of ice in Lago Grey, but I highly recommend seeing them either by stopping at the restaurant/lounge in...More

Bundle up with the right mountain gear though. It is a long hike with strong wind. Also suggest to stay in the hotel at the base of the trail after the hike so you have plenty of time to get to the final destination before...More

We loved trekking through Torres del Paine National Park. We completed the 'W' trek in 4 days (3 nights) - we would have loved to do the 'O', but we didn't want to carry our own tents. Instead we stayed 2 nights where tents were...More

This park is beautiful, it is definitively one of the best I have seen in the continent. I would recommend to allocate 2-3 days to see the highlights of the park. Having a car is the best, so that you can explore the different areas...More

Hi GFur, Yes I think this would definitely be possible but your options for day hikes is a little more limited because some areas of the park take more than one day to get to. On the plus side, it allows you to do some... More
